Report student absences through new SafeArrival system

Beginning Sept. 6, 2016, all parents/guardians need to report their children's full-day absences, late arrivals and/or early departures from school via our new automated SafeArrival phone number at 1-855-209-6155, online at, or by downloading the mobile app for Apple and Android devices.  For absences longer than 5 consecutive school days, please contact the school office.

Parents are encouraged to provide an email address to schools. Parents who have an email address on file at school will receive an email invitation from Synrevoice Technologies during the week of August 29. The invitation will include login information. Starting the week of August 29, parents who do not have an email address on file at the school can visit and choose CREATE LOGIN to create your account and receive login credentials that can be used online or with the mobile app. Parents need to have a cell phone that is capable of receiving text messages to complete the setup process.  The cell phone number must be on file with the school. All three options are available 24 hours a day.

There is no longer an absence reporting phone line at school. If you have any questions or require any assistance, contact the school directly.

Grade 8 Graduation Celebration:

To accommodate our large number of classes, we have had to find a new venue for the graduation celebrations. The grade eight graduation will be held at the Red Rose Convention Centre, 1233 Derry Road (East), Mississauga. As well, please note that to accommodate the change in location we have had to change the date for the event. The graduation ceremony will take place on Wednesday, June 29th, 2016.  More information regarding graduation and year end celebrations will be going home in May.

Peel board says, “Facts matter,” provides factual guide to revised HPE curriculum

The Peel District School Board has produced Working together to keep our students safe and healthy: a parent's guide to the revised Health and Physical Education curriculum. The guide provides factual information about the revised curriculum, the actions the board has taken in response, and a grade-by-grade chart of what students will learn. The guide will be distributed to every parent with students in grades 1 to 12.

Parent resources help you support your child’s learning

Parent resources help you support your child’s learning

In October 2014, the Peel District School Board sought input from families to help guide the development of resources that help parents and caregivers support their children's learning. The result is a new Help Your Child online resource centre on the Peel board's website with the topics families said were important to them.
