CLARIFICATION ON ELEMENTARY TEACHERS' JOB ACTION

Upon clarification, the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario (ETFO) has indicated that as of May 11, 2015, elementary teachers and elementary occasional teachers across Ontario will be taking job action. This may include any labour action or withdrawal of service, up to and including a strike.

ETFO has indicated that we will know what services will be withdrawn by the end of this week. Once we know the impact of the job action, we will communicate this to families and students.

Letter to families about updated health & physical education curriculum

The Ministry of Education recently released its revised Health & Physical Education (HPE) curriculum, which all Ontario schools are required to implement beginning in September 2015. We want to ensure all Peel families have the information they need to help them understand the changes and learn how the curriculum will be taught in the classroom.
