Key Fa​cts on religious accommodation

​The Peel District School Board has launched a direct, clear set of Key Fa​cts on religious accommodation. The new fact sheet responds to misinformation a​nd errors that have been shared in the community and on social media.​​​​ The fact sheet​ can be found at www.peelschools.org/aboutus/equity. It will be translated into the top 10 languages spoken by Peel ​families and posted by next week.​

​Our school offers School Cash Online, a safe and secure form of online payment, as its preferred method of payment for all school fees. With a parent-friendly portal and an easy way to keep track of your child's activity fees, you can use School Cash Online to pay for school items like field trips and pizza days directly from your computer or smartphone using eCheck, Visa or MasterCard.

​The Peel District School Board has a long history of fiscal responsibility, focused on a mission to inspire success, confidence and hope in each student. Through the effective use of resources to enhance student achievement, the board is able support the needs of all learners in an efficient and sustainable manner.​

​To guide the Peel board in the development of its 2017-18 school year budget, trustees are seeking input from staff, parents, students and community members. We'd like to hear from you about what you see as budget priorities for the upcoming school year.​​

Peel Public Health has now completed dental screenings for participating students at Mineola Public School. If your child was identified as needing additional dental treatment a form will have been sent home in their backpack or agenda and parents may be contacted by a dental staff member. Please read the form carefully and if you need help with the form, call Peel Public Health at 905-799-7700 extension 5622 or visit

​We inspire success, confidence and hope in each student… and it all starts in kindergarten! If your child was born in 2013, he or she can start kindergarten in September 2017.

Dental Screening at Mineola (JK, SK, Grades 2 and 4)

FREE dental screening for JK, SK, 2 and 4 at Mineola by Peel Public Health on February 27, 2017. A dental screening is a quick assessment by a Registered Dental Hygienist who will take a look inside your child's mouth. A separate, sterilized mouth mirror is used for each child. If a child is identified as needing additional treatment, a form will be sent home and the parent may be contacted by a dental staff member. A re-screening may be required.
