The Peel District School Board has produced Working together to keep our students safe and healthy: a parent's guide to the revised Health and Physical Education curriculum. The guide provides factual information about the revised curriculum, the actions the board has taken in response, and a grade-by-grade chart of what students will learn. The guide will be distributed to every parent with students in grades 1 to 12.

Coming in for a parent teacher conference? Please ask your child to share their personal portfolio website and class website with you ahead of time, so you can ask any questions you might have. This is where you can view their work and development over the three years they are at RTMS, where homework is listed, and what the class is doing. Check back throughout the year to see new work that has been added and your child's academic growth.

In October 2014, the Peel District School Board sought input from families to help guide the development of resources that help parents and caregivers support their children's learning. The result is a new Help Your Child online resource centre on the Peel board's website with the topics families said were important to them.
