Who we are

Oscar Peterson Public School is a large kindergarten to grade 5 dual-track school in west Mississauga. The languages of instruction are English and French. Our school community is culturally diverse and our students, staff and parents speak close to 50 languages. Within this vibrant school community, students and staff share a passion for learning, the arts and the environment.  Students may choose to engage in a wide variety of extracurricular activities that span a range of disciplines. Parents may choose to engage in evening program workshops as well as in activities and performances that celebrate student learning. The school is named for legendary Canadian jazz pianist, musician and composer Oscar Peterson. Mr. Peterson is also known for his leadership in promoting equity, justice and human rights.
