​The Peel District School Board will host hundreds of celebrations, activities and events across its 257 schools and worksites to celebrate Education Week from April 8 to 12. On April 15, the Peel board will host Showcase of Excellence, an evening to honour recipients for their outstanding contributions to public education. The theme for this year's Education Week is We Inspire.

Please find attached a flyer to Streetsville’s annual Grade 7 and 8 Parent Information Night.  It will be held on Wednesday, Oct 3rd from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

It is always an amazing night with food trucks, music, a club fair and time to tour the school and meet the staff.  There will also be an information session about the transition to grade 9, course selection and diploma requirements.

Sleep Tips for Parents, Children & Teens

​Many parents face difficulties getting their children back into regular sleep routines, especially after holiday breaks.  Studies have shown that a lack of quality sleep in children can increase the likelihood of anxiety, depression, poor grades and school performance, and even physical pain. Research has proven that kids need a lot of sleep in order to function adequately during the day, and sleep deprived children often overcompensate for lack of sleep by becoming fidgety or even disruptive in school.​

Willy Wonka Musical Performance

This presentation will have assigned seating & seating will be assigned on a "first come-first serve" basis. We are not limiting the # of tickets for purchase; however, if you would like your party to sit together, you will need to order the tickets at the same time.  Children & adults will require tickets. Babies do not require tickets but must be "in-lap" as there will be no strollers in the "theatre" &, as the aisles are being used you will not be able to get up and wander around. 
Filming of the performance is strictly prohibited.
Performances: Wednesday, April 10th 9:30 am & 7 pm
