​​​At the Peel District School Board, we are committed to providing the very best learning environments so that all students can achieve personal excellence. In order to do this, we must truly understand the needs of students and their families. To help us in this work, we will launch our first Student Census in November.

Bus cancellation and closing schools due to bad weather

​During the winter months, we may need to cancel buses or close schools because of inclement weather. 

Information regarding details of cancellations or closures will be announced on radio, television stations and will also be available on Twitter @Peelschools, Facebook at www.facebook.com/peelschools, www.peelschools.org and www.stopr.ca or by calling.

​The Peel District School Board will recognize Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week during the week of Nov. 18 to 24, 2018.

Peel board hosts info sessions about French Immersion, Extended French options on Nov. 22

The Peel District School Board will host information sessions for families about its French Immersion (FI) and Extended French (EF) programs at each FI/EF school on Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. These programs are an option for families to consider if they have a child who will start grade 1 or grade 7 in September 2019. Visit www.peelschools.org/French to find the FI or EF school in your area.

Come out to meet your child's teachers. All homerooms will have a powerpoint playing with all the latest and greatest for the upcoming school year!

SPECIAL PRESENATION: Clarkson SS Admin and Math Dept Head will be hosting a math presentation for all Grade 7 and 8 parents in the gym from 7pm.

​EMMS Open House/Curriculum Night date has change to:

Monday October 1st, 2018

In light of wanting all parents to attend feeder open house nights (Brookmede, Garthwood, Sawmill Valley, Clarkson SS) we changed our date.

Date: Monday October 1, 2018

Time: 6pm - 7pm (Classroom Visits and Presentations)

          7pm - 8pm - Clarkson Math Dept Head and Principal will host an math info session in our gym for interested grade 7 and 8 parents.

A flyer will be sent home on Monday Sept 24th will all of our students.

Please come out, meet  your child(ren)' teaching staff and enjoy as your child(ren) host you at EMMS.

School Council Parent Reps for 2018-2019

Thank you to all the parents that sent back their nomination forms for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year.

Due to the number of parents interested in being parent reps on school council this year -- all nominated parents will be voting members on our school council this year. 

Elections will no longer be needed on Sept 25th.
