Peel board empowers modern learners in new vision for 21st century teaching and learning

Peel board empowers modern learners in new vision for 21st century teaching and learning

Technological innovations have transformed our world into one that is always connected and rapidly evolving, bringing new opportunities for employment, as well as civic engagement and learning, on unprecedented local and global scales. In the same spirit of innovation, the Peel District School Board has revisited its Vision for 21st Century Teaching and Learning and updated it to more clearly reflect its collective commitment to develop active and critically engaged citizens.

Welcome to Sheridan Park Public School.

Being a volunteer is a wonderful thing. It brings people together in ways that are mutually beneficial on so many levels and always has the potential for experiences and human contact that are profoundly life-changing. There is no greater satisfaction than freely giving our time and talents to make life better for our children.

Volunteers at Sheridan Park work on a variety of different projects.

A Volenteer Form has been posted under our QuickLinks section of the school website.

Please print and return your form to the office. We will contact you in person to further discuss details and time commitment.

Please note that in order to be a volunteer it is essential that you have a Criminal Record Check for new volunteers. Please pick up a form from the office if you are interested.

If you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact the school at 905-822-2401.

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration of this request.

Parent resources help you support your child’s learning

Parent resources help you support your child’s learning

In October 2014, the Peel District School Board sought input from families to help guide the development of resources that help parents and caregivers support their children's learning. The result is a new Help Your Child online resource centre on the Peel board's website with the topics families said were important to them.
