Pizza Day Volunteers Needed
Dear Parents of Whitehorn Students,
In the past, Whitehorn has held Pizza Days twice a month as a fundraiser run by the staff. These funds went into bringing performances into the school for the students. The school council is looking to take over running Pizza Days but we need dedicated parent volunteers that are available during the school day.
Some of the work that will be involved includes the following:
1) Preparing order forms
2) Tallying order forms
3) Counting money
4) Calling in pizza order
5) Receive and distribute pizza to students
If you're interested in helping, please send an email to whitehornps.council@peelsb.com. Additionally, to do any volunteering at the school, it is board regulation that you get a criminal record check. To get the necessary forms, please contact either Mrs. Patterson or Mrs. Brown at the school. They can provide you with a form that you need to fill out and bring to a police station for processing. The results of the check will need to be sent to the school board directly and your name will be added to the volunteer list.
