Register for School
The Peel board serves children age four to 21 in regular day school. The calendar year children turn four years old, they can start kindergarten in September.
When and where to register
Usually, you can register at the school your child will attend. Contact the school to make an appointment to register, and complete the registration form.

Documents to bring to registration
Proof of child's age
- Canadian birth certificate
- Canadian passport
- citizenship card/certificate
- Permanent Resident Card
- Record of Landing
- confirmation of permanent residence
- work permit
- refugee permit
Proof of address
- purchase agreement
- utility bill
- bank statement/client slip (directly from financial institution)
- credit card statement
- federal government forms (e.g. Social Insurance Number, Service Canada documents)
- Ontario driver's licence
Proof of custody – children must live with their parent(s) unless provided documentation supports an alternate living arrangement
Proof of immunization– proof that your child has been immunized/vaccinated
