Donna Pham along with Queenston Drive's ESL Teachers, will be providing information to our newcomer families about the use of Steps to English Proficiency (STEP), as well as an overview of the Provincial Progress Report and Report Cards (for Grades 1-8).

Parent Info Session - George Couros & Technology in Schools

The School Councils of Hawthorne Public School, McBride Avenue Public School, Queenston Drive Pubic School and The Woodlands Elementary School are pleased to host George Couros. George is an Alberta Principal and Keynote Speaker who works with schools and organizations all around the world. He will speak about how schools are using social media to improve learning in their schools. Many parents are fearful of what this means. This talk will provide peace of mind to parents while also engaging them in considering the unique opportunity they have to participate in their child’s learning.
