We Scare Hunger Food Drive

From Monday, October 27 to Friday, November 7, we will be collecting non-perishable food items.  Classes will be tallying how much food each class is able to collect.  All food will be given to the Knights' Table Food Bank in Brampton.​

Ontario Child Health Study

Ontario Child Health Study

From October 2014 to May 2015, Statistics Canada will be inviting 7,000 families with children aged 4-17 years of age to complete an interview in their home called the Ontario Child Health Study (OCHS).  As well, McMaster University researchers will be conducting School Mental Health Surveys (SMAS) in 240 Ontario schools.​

The research data collected by OCHS will be used to support and develop policies and programs to ensure the health of children in Ontario. A similar study was conducted in 1983, with follow-up studies in 1987 and 2000.

Region of Peel Family Literacy program is coming to Beryl Ford Public School

​We are excited to have the Region of Peel's Family Literacy program at our school.  Please register online at http://www.peelregion.ca/children/.  This program is open to our Kindergarten students and their families.  The program begins Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm and continues for nine weeks, with a different focus each week.
