Help your teen plan for grade 9 course selections for 2018-19

The grade 9 course selection process will be open from Nov. 13 to 30, 2017. Before they do, we want to ensure that they have the opportunity to consult with their teachers, guidance counsellor, if applicable, and their parents.

As our partners, families are encouraged to help prepare their teens for course selection. We encourage you to become familiar with the process by creating a myBlueprint account.

Pay for school fees using School Cash Online

Our school offers School Cash Online, a safe and secure form of online payment, as its preferred method of payment for all school fees. With a parent-friendly portal and an easy way to keep track of your child's activity fees, you can use School Cash Online to pay for school items like field trips and pizza days directly from your computer or smartphone using eCheck, Visa or MasterCard.​

By registering, you'll have the ability to:

  • Keep track of your children's school items and activity fees
  • Check account history
  • Print or view receipts
  • Make donations to Peel District School Board students and programs online and instantly receive a tax receipt. Donations to any other charitable organizations should NOT be made using the "Make a donation" button.
  • Pay for school fees with the click of a button
  • Receive notifications about upcoming events

Peel Public Health provides dental screening in select grades in Peel elementary schools as required by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care.

When: January 16 & 17, 2018

Grades: JK, SK, 2 and 8

Volunteer Criminal Record Checks to cost $33 as of January 1, 2018

​Peel Regional Police have advised us that, as of January 1, 2018, Criminal Record Checks – Vulnerable Sector Check for adults, including those for volunteers, will cost $33; students and seniors will remain at the current cost of $25.  Processing of CRCs for volunteers is free until the end of December 2017, with Form A provided by the school.

Peel board hosts info sessions about French Immersion, Extended French options on Nov. 23

The Peel District School Board will host information sessions for families about its French Immersion (FI) and Extended French (EF) programs at each FI/EF school on Nov. 23 at 7 p.m. These programs are an option for families to consider if they have a child who will start grade 1 or grade 7 in September 2018. Visit www.peelschools.org/French to find the FI or EF school in your area.

School Council presents The Emoji Movie - Movie Night

Families are invited to come to watch The Emoji Movie on Thursday, November 30 at 6:00 p.m.  Entry is free and we encourage you to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to our local food bank.  Snacks will be available for pre-purchase on School Cash Online up until November 23.  Very limited quantities will be available for sale at the event.​
