Dental Screening

Dental Screening

Peel Public Health is offering FREE dental screenings for sstudents in JK,SSK, 2 and 4 on December 14, 2016.  A dental screening is a quick assessment by a Registered Dental Hygienist who will take a look inside your child's mouth.  A separate, sterilized mouth mirror is used for each child.  If a child is identified as needing additional treatment, a form will be sent home and the parent may be contacted by a dental staff member.  A re-screening may be required.  Peel Public Health will no longer be sending out paper exemption forms.  If you DO NOT want your child to be sreened, please visit the web portal at www.peelregion.ca/dental/schoolscreening or call 905-799-7700 ext.5622 by December 13, 2016.

Peel board empowers modern learners in new vision for 21st century teaching and learning

Technological innovations have transformed our world into one that is always connected and rapidly evolving, bringing new opportunities for employment, as well as civic engagement and learning, on unprecedented local and global scales. In the same spirit of innovation, the Peel District School Board has revisited its Vision for 21st Century Teaching and Learning and updated it to more clearly reflect its collective commitment to develop active and critically engaged citizens.

Parent resources help you support your child’s learning

Parent resources help you support your child’s learning

In October 2014, the Peel District School Board sought input from families to help guide the development of resources that help parents and caregivers support their children's learning. The result is a new Help Your Child online resource centre on the Peel board's website with the topics families said were important to them.
