All evening programs and permits cancelled – Wednesday, Feb. 20

Due to the freezing rain expected this evening, all evening permits, Continuing Education courses, night school, adult ESL programs, adult credit classes are cancelled for Wednesday, Feb. 20. Schools will make site-based decisions about extracurricular activities—please contact your child's school directly. Child care programs remain open. ​

​Peel Learning Foundation, a community-based, charitable organization, will officially introduce itself to the Peel community at a launch event on Friday, Feb. 22, 2019. In partnership with the Peel District School Board, the foundation was created to enable Peel board students to achieve personal excellence by providing resources to help them overcome barriers.

Influenza is a disease that affects the airways and the lungs. The flu can spread from person to person and can sometimes cause severe illnesses.

Peel Public Health has provided these tips to help reduce the risk of becoming ill or spreading the flu:
