Welcome to Caledon East Public School's School Council.
School Council meetings are a chance for parents to become involved in their child's education. Some areas of discussion held at school council meetings include; Provincial Code of Conduct, dress policy, homework policies, EQAO testing, new education initiatives, field trips, safe arrival policies, volunteers, school budget, busing, classroom organization, community school, and any other matter that has an effect on the school population.
Meetings are held approximately 5 times a year and are open to all parents, guardians and community members. Notice of meetings are communicated via email

Caledon East School Council's Purpose and Objectives:
• To share information with parents and the community and to seek their ideas and views about matters under consideration by the Council
• To place the overall interests of the school and all of its students first.
• To act in an advisory capacity and as a resource to the school principal and, when appropriate, to the Board.
• To foster good relationships among parents, school staff, students, the local community and the school board.
