I am proud to share that M. St.-Hilaire and Mrs. K. Clark are the Grand Prize recipients of the Dr. Eric Jackman Institute of Child Study’s Edward Burtynsky Award for Teaching Excellence in Environmental Education.
As part of the award they will be receiving one genuine Edward Burtynsky print (valued at $3500 – 4 000 dollars), a $500 dollar donation for Environmental Education related to professional development opportunities, and Herb Campbell P. S. will receive a $1 000 grant to fund Environmental Education learning opportunities/experiences for the Herb Campbell Public School student population.
It is the personal commitment and professional leadership of these two fine educators that has helped to shape and to expand our school’s commitment to the environment. Please join me in congratulating M. St.-Hilaire and Mrs. Clark for this incredible achievement.
