Does your family need a new computer? The Peel District School Board and Dell Canada are working together to help make the purchase of new technology more accessible for Peel students, parents and staff. Your Voice Counts

As our partner in education, your input is valued and appreciated. We recognize your involvement is critical to student success, which is why we’re sending this letter, inviting you to complete an online survey to tell us what you think about Shaw Public School. It is very important that we hear from all our families, so please take a few minutes to share your thoughts about our school with us.

SHAW WILL BE A KINDERGARTEN TO GRADE 8 SCHOOL

With the public information meetings at Harold Brathwaite Secondary School now behind us and the official notices being sent home to all of our families, we are looking forward to the many changes that will be taking place in the coming school year. Not only will Shaw be expanding to offer instruction up to and including Grade 8, we shall also be introducing a full-day Kindergarten program. In order to make these changes possible and still maintain a manageable student population, our boundaries were contracted and a number of our current students will be completing their elementary school studies at either Mountain Ash Public School or Eagle Plains Public School, both of which are also moving to the Kindergarten to Grade 8 model. Our teachers, many of whom have qualifications for and previous experience at the intermediate level, are quite excited about these forthcoming changes and our Kindergarten staff is already preparing for the new full-day program. If you have any questions about the 2014-2015 school year, please do not hesitate to contact the school at 905-790-6095.
