Letter from Director of Education Tony Pontes re: updated Health and Physical Education curriculum

Letter from Director of Education Tony Pontes re: updated Health and Physical Education curriculum

At the Peel District School Board, we know that families play a vital role in supporting student success. Like you, we feel there is nothing more important than the health and safety of our students. For this reason, the Peel board strongly supports the need for an updated Health & Physical Education (HPE) curriculum.

Morton Way to Welcome New Superintendent

Morton Way to Welcome New Superintendent

We would like to announce to our school community that Morton Way P.S. will have a new superintendent as of August 1st, Adrian Graham.  Adrian is looking forward to getting to know those in the school community, and excited about his new role.  He can be contacted at the North Field Office at 905-451-2862 (ext. 4223).  Continued growth in our area has necessitated some adjustment to our families of school boundaries; our former superintendent Ted Byers will be working in a different family of schools which is also growing quickly.

Mr. Byers expresses that it has been his pleasure to serve the community over the past several years, and that he will miss connecting with the school and with parents and students here.

Parent resources help you support your child’s learning

Parent resources help you support your child’s learning

In October 2014, the Peel District School Board sought input from families to help guide the development of resources that help parents and caregivers support their children's learning. The result is a new Help Your Child online resource centre on the Peel board's website with the topics families said were important to them.
