Sibling Photo & Studio Photo Day

Thursday, April 30th is Sibling Photo and Studio Day!  Our photography company, Edge Imaging  will be in on this day to take group photos of siblings, and studio photos of your children.  Only students who return completed STUDIO DAY pamphlets will be photographed, please return these pamphlets to your child's teacher as soon as possilbe to help us arrange our schedule for the day. You can choose your fancy pose and backdrop!  As photos will be taken on a 'green screen' students are encouraged to not wear Green clothing on the day.

For our sibling photo day, we encourage students from other schools (Centennial Senior, Brampton Centennial Secondary) to attend on the day - please fill out sibling details and their time of arrival at the school so we can schedule the sibling photo session.

We look forward to sibling photo and studio day, please call the school if you have any questions.

For more information and parent application packages, visit www.peelschools.org/PIC. Forms are due by April 29, 2015.

We've expanded our Recycling Center

We've expanded our Recycling Center

Great news from your Eco-Schools committee!  Our recycling program continues to welcome community drop offs to help 'green' our environment.  Students or parents/guardians can start to bring in toner and inkjet cartridges to be recycled here at school in the front foyer as a green stand-up bin has now been added, just inside the front doors. Please remember you can dispose of old markers and small used battaries as well.
Please be careful that the cartridges are undamaged so students should take care when bringing them to school.  Thanks everyone for your help in creating a greener Morton Way Community!

Letter to families about updated health & physical education curriculum

Letter to families about updated health & physical education curriculum

The Ministry of Education recently released its revised Health & Physical Education (HPE) curriculum, which all Ontario schools are required to implement beginning in September 2015. We want to ensure all Peel families have the information they need to help them understand the changes and learn how the curriculum will be taught in the classroom.

Parent resources help you support your child’s learning

Parent resources help you support your child’s learning

In October 2014, the Peel District School Board sought input from families to help guide the development of resources that help parents and caregivers support their children's learning. The result is a new Help Your Child online resource centre on the Peel board's website with the topics families said were important to them.
