Classrooms Without Walls

The Classroom Without Walls initiative was done in conjunction with the Peel District School Board's Field Centres to promote the teaching and learning of Science through direct outdoor interaction with nature.  At Roberta Bondar, we added the focus of depicting Science through the Arts.  Participation in the program enabled the school to purchase a variety of Art supplies and Science equipment.  Various activities that students engaged in, have informed and enhanced their knowledge of ecosystems, endangered species, and has encouraged the school community to consider factors that affect habitat loss for plants and animals in our community.
