Walk to School Program Beginning - Wednesday, September 20

Britannia now has a Walking School Program that is run with the help of Grade 4 and 5 students who want to help promote walking to school & walking at school - we want to get our school moving!

In order to help promoting walking to school & walking at school, all Grade 1-5 students can earn "walking points" and over time they can earn a prize by collecting 10 walking points. If a student walks to school, he/she earns one walking point. If students rides on the bus, when they get to school they can walk around the edge of the tarmac by their door 5 times and earn a walking point. Grade 1 students, your regular walk from the bus to your door counts for your walking point each day!

Every morning, our Walking School club members will be outside on the tarmac with their bright green "Walk to School" shirts on, ready to mark down walking points on students' cards.

Students, bring your walking cards to school tomorrow and LET'S GET MOVING!
