In October 2014, the Peel District School Board sought input from families to help guide the development of resources that help parents and caregivers support their children's learning. The result is a new Help Your Child online resource centre on the Peel board's website with the topics families said were important to them.
The Fraser Institute's Report Card on Ontario's Elementary Schools uses grade 3 and grade 6 Education Quality & Accountability Office (EQAO) test results to calculate each school's overall rating out of 10. Our annual Parent Conference helps Peel board parents and caregivers discover new ideas to support children's learning and development. This year’s focus is Math. The deadline to register is March 27.

The Peel District School Board is currently seeking parent members for its first French as a Second Language Advisory committee. The committee will meet three to four times during the school year to provide input and feedback in an advisory capacity to the board regarding the development and implementation of French programs and initiatives.
