Peel Assistive Technology
Assistive Technology (AT) is available to students to perform specific tasks, improve functional capabilities, and foster independence. AT is used in Trelawny classrooms and can also be used at home.
Some of the technologies used at school are: laptops and chromebooks with Google read and write software, and ipads with speech to text capability among other programs. Students can log into Google read and write from home and continue to access their documents and the AT features when working at home.
This is the public blog run by the Assistive Technology team at the Peel District School Board. We will share news, information, resources and videos related to Assistive Technology that students can use to support their learning. Click here for the entire site
