Registration now open for Peel board's annual parent conference

Registration now open for Peel board's annual parent conference

​The Peel District School Board is hosting its annual parent conference on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Mississauga Secondary School. This free learning event is open to Peel parents of students at all grade levels. Child care will not be provided.

The conference will focus on numeracy—30 out of 60 workshops help with math. Parents will still have the opportunity to attend workshops on other topics, including literacy, special education and science.

​The conference includes:

  • a powerful keynote presentation focused on math success
  • your choice of 60 practical workshops facilitated by Peel board staff
  • a display area with educational exhibits from local organizations

​IBT (Schools North of the 401) Information Night will be held on Wednesday January 25th, 2017 at Mayfield SS.  It will include a presentation that includes a detailed explination of the IBT program, guided instruction through the application process and a question period for parents.  

Preventative Dental

Preventative Dental

Peel Public Health is providing free preventive dental services at school on June 13 - 29, 2017 which may include dental cleaning, sealants and fluoride for children who received a pink form in their backpack or school agenda. If you would like your child to participate in the free preventive dental services please return the completed pink form to the office before May 30, 2017. If there are any changes or conditions to your child’s health after completing the form please contact Peel Public Health at 905-799-7700 extension 5622.
