Important Notice

Dell Canada offers special rates for Peel board families and staff

Does your family need a new computer? The Peel District School Board and Dell Canada are working together to help make the purchase of new technology more accessible for Peel students, parents and staff. To celebrate the launch of the relationship, Peel families will have access to 12-month interest free financing (on approved credit)* on purchases of $499 or more during the month of April.

Earth Day - Tuesday, April, 22nd, 2014.

Don't forget to wear green and/or blue on Tuesday, April 22nd for our Earth Day celebration. We will be helping to clean up our school yard and community. As well, each class will continue to build their Eco-Mascot from recycled materials.

Book Fair Extension

The Book Fair will be extended for students until Thursday, April, 24th. The extension will also provide an opportunity for all of our families to visit during the Literacy and Numeracy Evening from 6 - 8 p.m. on April 24th. We look forward to seeing you.

Kindergarten registration opens Feb. 4

If your child was born in 2010, he or she can start kindergarten in September 2014. All Peel elementary schools will be open for kindergarten registration on Feb. 4, 5, 6 and 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 5 to 8 p.m. on Feb. 6.

School Council Presentation for Families: Chris Vollum, Social Media Fitness

To support our Digital Citizenship Day at Derry West Village, Chris Vollum, from Social Media Fitness will be presenting to our Parents and Guardians on Wednesday, May, 21st, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. Mr. Vollum's work supports our Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) technology initiative and the Ministry of Education's directive in promoting a safe, accepting and inclusive school environment and positive climate. Please join us for an informative and engaging evening event.

Please join us for Walking Wednesday's! 
Students have a green walking card that will get stamped each Wednesday if they walk, bike or roll to school.
Even our bus students can walk with staff in our school yard during our Nutrition Break on Wednesday's too.
