The Big Crunch

Following our initiative, The Great Gulp, on March 10th, which raised awareness about drinking tap water over water from disposable bottles, we have been participating in Tap Water Tuesdays. Students are encouraged to bring their re-usable water bottles to school on Tuesdays, and every day, to enjoy fresh, healthy Region of Peel tap water.
Our next Eco initiative is called The Big Crunch, which raises awareness for healthy living. On Tuesday, April 25th, staff and students will be taking a "Big Crunch" together on a fruit or vegetable that students should bring to school in their lunches. The EcoTeam will be incorporating some healthy living ideas into this event by having a special Fruit-Infused Tap Water Tuesday on this day so students can enjoy delicious, healthy options for their water.
