Welcome to West Credit Secondary School – a dynamic and safe learning environment for your child. West Credit provides a variety of programs to meet the needs of all students. Along with the traditional academic courses and fabulous opportunities in The Arts and Physical and Health Education, we offer skilled trades in areas such as Automotive, Construction, Child Care, Cosmetology, Manufacturing, Landscape and Horticulture, and Hospitality and Tourism (Chef Training and Baking). We also have a Specialist High Skills Major in Hospitality and are partnered with Humber College – read more about this program on the Department of Technology page.
While we service a number of students with Special Education needs, in 2011, we will be opening our doors to all students interested in pursuing a skilled trade connecting to an Apprenticeship Program. We pride ourselves in having strong staff support, smaller class sizes, a variety of co-curricular programs, and a strong sense of community. Just walk in our doors and you will feel the difference!
Our motto, “Pursue Your Passion” means just that. We want our students to pursue something they love and we're here to help them achieve that.
