May 17, 2013 - This is a Week A

The debate club will be offering training sessions for students volunteering for the debate tournament.  Training sessions will take place on Wednesday May 22nd and Friday May 24th during periods C and D.  Please meet outside of the library on these days.
 
 
Mosaix tickets @ $10 each will be on sale at the box office on Tuesday May 21 and Wednesday May 22 between 11:15 am and 1:15 pm ( periods C and D lunch ) Please note there's a limit of 2 tickets per person and a very limited amount of tickets will be sold at the door . There will be an annoucement on Thursday May 23 indicating the number of tickets left for sale at the door. The show always sells out, please get your tickets prior to show day!!
The buy out performance is for Cawthra Park students only and are being sold for $5 on May 21 and 22 during period C and D. No buy out tickets will be sold on the 23rd ( No exceptions!! )
 
Despite very strong winds yesterday, your ultimate frisbee team managed to eek out wins against Rick Hansen and defending champion John Cabot. These wins put the team in first place with a 6-0 record! Congratulations on a great team effort!
 
Can you swim, bike or run?  Then sign up for the Triathlon!
You can compete as an individual or a team.
Please pick up a permission form outside the Boys’ Phys Ed Office.
You must bring your completed permission form to the mandatory meeting on Wednesday May 22 after school.
 
The Cheesegrater is back.  Send in your work or non-fiction or fiction, or poetry, as well as photography, artwork, and any other original work.  Send submissions to grate.me@live.ca. Submissions are due Wednesday, May 22.
 
Do you have an interest in the debate club? Do you need to complete your 40 hours of community service? If your answer to these questions is yes, consider volunteering for Cawthra Park’s upcoming debate tournament on Monday May 27th after school. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up on the sheet outside the social science office.
 
Interested in taking driving lessons over the summer, come to the guidance office for details.
 
Cawthra invites all student organizations (clubs, teams, performance groups, councils etc.) to participate in the Activity Banquet on June 6th. To start, your staff sponsor needs to submit the name of one award winner for your organization on the MySchool Website by May 24th. Invitations will be sent to award winners in May. We encourage everyone to participate in this celebration of excellence.
