Grade 9 Pop Culture Clothing
We live in a period characterized by diverse, awesome, addictive, and constant entertainment in the sphere of pop culture. In simple terms, pop culture can be defined as a blend of ideas, images, attitudes, and perspectives that characterize a given culture and are adored by the mainstream population. It also encompasses what is trending among the mainstream population. Today as you go about your day, take notice of the 55 Grade 9 RAP students wearing their jean jackets, jeans, t-shirts, shorts and ties. Their goal was to spark conversation by juxtaposing two objects/ideas/events of Popular Culture side by side to establish a relationship between then that offers a message about our culture ~ a reflection of THIS time. We hope they spark your curiosity. Please engage in conversation with them! ENJOY!
Attention Grade 12 students. Commencement tickets will NO LONGER BE distributed via the box office at lunch time. If you have not picked up your tickets, you MUST see Mr. Wun in the Social Science office to pick them up before the end of next week.
