Counting On You
Are you in grades 9 and 10?  Do you want to improve your literacy and numeracy skills after MidTerm?  Then Counting On You is still there for you!  Join your favorite math teachers for extra-help, extra-fun, and extra-snacks!  We meet every Tuesday after school in Room 303 from 3:00-4:30.

Volunteers - Fair December
Cawthra Park will be hosting the annual fund raiser "Fair December".  Volunteers are needed from Friday, December 6 - Sunday, December 8.  Please register your availability on the Fair December Google Classroom:  v0hz9y.  Volunteer hours or activity points can be awarded.

Chicago Tickets Now On Sale!
Tickets for Chicago are now open to the public via school cash online.  You must first buy your tickets online and THEN PRINT OUT THE RECEIPT & TAKE IT TO THE BOX OFFICE to get your ACTUAL TICKETS.  Buying them online is only step one. All tickets must be claimed at the box office by lunch on Nov 27th. The shows will sell out quickly so please act fast!! The show is Nov 28-30th at 7:00pm for $25.

Cawthra Climate Activists Club
Are you interested to learn more about CLIMATE CHANGE?
 Are you passionate about environmental issues and want to make a difference?
What about committing to taking on the CLIMATE ACTION PROJECT in our community?
Cawthra Climate Activist Club is looking for new members. Come to the meeting on November 21st to learn more @ 11:45 room 309.

Girls Hockey Practices
The girls hockey team will have practices on November 18th and November 20th at 3:15 at Cawthra Community Centre.

Math Contests
If you registered for either the CIMC or CSMC on School Cash On-Line, these math contests will be written in Room 206 on Wednesday, November 20 from 11:30-1:30 (Periods C and E).  You will be signed out of these classes for these periods.  Please speak with Mr. Silvaggio in the Math Office on the 3rd floor if you have any further questions.

Second Semester Co-op Opportunities
All second semester co-op students must check their school email for important information about co-op placements with the local hospitals, Peel Regional Police, the Living Arts Centre and the Army Reserves.

Second semester co-op students must check their school email for important information about Dual Credit offerings at the local Colleges. Applications must be submitted as soon as possible as courses are offered on a first come first served basis.

Intercultural Group Exchange Spring 2020
Have you ever thought about exploring another region of Canada, meeting new people, and exploring Canada’s cultural diversity? 
If so, join Cawthra's YMCA Youth Exchange program as we host Indigenous students from a Maliseet community in New Brunswick in April and then visit their community in May.  This spring we are planning an intercultural exchange with Tobique First Nation in New Brunswick.  This program is funded by Heritage Canada and open to students 12-17.
