Ultimate Frisbee Team makes playoffs
Yesterday the ultimate Frisbee team finished its regular season with a 14-4 win against Gordon Graydon. This puts Cawthra in 3rd place in our division. The team will be travelling to Castlebrooke on Tuesday for the playoffs. Way to go Panthers!

Freezie Day
Freezie Day! There will be freezies sold in the cafeteria at lunch on Friday, May 25th to support the grade 11 drama final exam! Come down and enjoy a cold freezie on a hot day!

Congratulate our Fastpitch Team!
Please congratulate our Cawthra Park Girls Fastpitch team! Despite several injuries and two very long double-header days, our team clinched 3 solid wins in their five game regular season. They will likely be advancing to the semis in two weeks and, with time to recover from injuries, plan to show their rivals what they can really do. Go Panthers.

Prom Table Selection
Table selection for prom will be taking place Monday to Wednesday at the beginning of lunch in the conference room.  On Monday only full tables of 10 will be accepted.  Tuesday and Wednesday all other attendees are welcome.  In order to select a table you MUST bring completed Cawthra student & guest application forms as well as your receipt of payment.  Without proper documentation you will not be allowed to select a table.

Junior boys badminton win vs Applewood
Congratulations to the junior boys badminton team on their win against Applewood on Thursday. Our doubles teams of Aron Chen & Sean Tran and Ethan Maeda & Carlos Carandang stepped up their game play to win all 12 games, while Josh Zakaib and Mitchell Gedney added another 5 for the win. Up next is TL Kennedy on Monday and Xavier on Tuesday. The win brings us one step closer ​to a spot in playoffs! Go Panthers!

Girls Fastpitch
Cawthra Park's Girls Fastpitch team took mercy on Lorne Park with a 15-0 win at the end of the 3rd inning!
The season opener for Cawthra Park's Girls Fastpitch team was extremely impressive with a 15 to 0 win over Lorne Park in only three innings. Both batting and fielding were solid from the start and the team spirit was infectious. Congratulations to the team!

Ultimate Fribee Tournament
Thank you to those who supported and participated in our 3rd annual ultimate frisbee tournament. There were 16 teams that played last Friday and Cawthra came in with a strong second place finish (despite unusually high winds)! A big thank you goes out to members of Athletic Council for organizing and running this event.

Junior badminton win vs St. Martin
Congratulations to the junior girls and boys badminton teams for their win against St. Martin on Tuesday. The next games are on Tue. May 8 and Thu. May 10 at Cawthra. Go Panthers!

Boy's Soccer Game Report
Congratulations to the Boy's Soccer Team for their first win of the season yesterday over Gordon Graydon. Final score was 4 to 1 with goals from Jacob Zakaib, Isaiah Headley and two from DeAndre Asare. It was a full team effort and Mr. G and Ms. Zakis are proud of the boy's for their effort. Well done!
