When Terry Fox was 18 years old he was diagnosed with bone cancer and had his leg amputated above the knee. Terry ran 5,373 km to raise awareness and money for cancer research. Unfortunately, the cancer spread to his lungs before he finished his marathon of hope. Please join us on Friday by donating and running to honor the legacy of this Canadian hero.
Counting On You

In 1980, Terry Fox ran a marathon everyday. For 143 days. This is known as the Marathon of Hope. On Friday, Cawthra will join thousands of people across Canada to remember Terry's bravery and hope to find a cure for cancer. Please donate in your home form class or on cash on line.
Crew for the Musical
Do you want to be on the crew for Legally Blonde? The signup will happen at the top of period C in the theatre this coming Thursday. Crew Heads will briefly describe the responsibilties and time committment then you will have a chance to sign up for the crew of your choice.
Students interested in Scholarships! There will be two scholarship workshops: One on Tuesday September 25th in the Library during period C and a repeat session on Thursday September 27th in the Library during period C.

Cawthra's 13th Annual Terry Fox Run is this Friday! Please support this event and make donations with cash on line or in your home form class. Please join us in supporting cancer research and participate in this Cawthra tradition as we run or walk on Friday.

Eco Field Trip to Albion Hills
The Eco Field Trip Permission Forms are now available in the library. We invite any eco minded students, and eco leaders, to join us for a day of outdoor activities at Albion Hills on Oct 4.
