Dear Clarkson Families and Community Members,
Clarkson staff and students are looking forward to our 45th Annual Cancer Drive from April 29-May 3. Since 1974, Clarkson S.S. has raised over $900,000 for cancer charities. Last year, our school raised over $28,000 for Sick Kids' Camp Ooch, a special camp for children affected by cancer.
Over the next few weeks our Chargers will organize and participate in a huge variety of activities to help raise money for Camp Ooch. At Clarkson, Cancer Drive is the most exciting and wonderful time of the year. You may have heard of our Mud Run, Dodge Ball Buyout, Pie Eating Contests, Milk Chug and dozens of other events that bring our students and community together… all for a worthwhile cause.
If your family would like to support the Clarkson Cancer Drive, you can donate on-line directly to Clarkson's Camp Ooch Donation Page. You will be provided with a tax receipt, and you will help our amazing students and staff reach or exceed our goal of $20,000.

This year also marks the 50th Anniversary for Clarkson Secondary School. To celebrate this event, we are hosting a Silent Auction on Saturday, May 25th. The auction proceeds will be divided between Clarkson S.S. and Camp Ooch. If you have any new items, events tickets or services you are willing to donate to the school, we would appreciate your support. We have attached a letter that you can share with family, friends and/or employers who may want more information about how they can contribute. All donors will be recognized for their support.

This is an exciting year for our school and we greatly appreciate your support in helping us celebrate our 45th Cancer Drive and our 50th Anniversary.
On behalf of the staff and students, both past and present, thank you!
