Extra-curricular Club Listing for 2012-2013

 

 

FMSS After School Drop in Programs @ Cassie Campbell  

Open to students between the ages of 13-17 • 3:30PM to 5:00PM • Drop In only • $2.00 each

 

Mondays:  Visual Arts Program

Including Fashion & Design, Plaster Creations and Jewellery Making (location: MPR3) 

 

Tuesdays: Dance Program

Including Hip Hop, Bollywood & Contemporary (location: Dance Studio) 

 

Wednesdays: Leadership Development Program

A great program to help build your resume! (location: MPR1)

Wednesdays: Basketball Program

Practice on your own or play pick up with friends (location: Gymnasium 3:30PM - 5:30PM) 

 

Thursdays: Fitness Program

Develop a healthy lifestyle and a fitness routine (location: Fitness Studio)

School clubs and other extracurricular activities are an integral part of many students’ high school experience. They provide a chance for students to develop leadership and teamwork skills while pursuing an interest that may lead to a career or lifelong hobby.

Positive participation in activities also increases students' involvement in their school. As well, extracurricular activities are considered an asset on post-secondary school applications by showing additional positive attributes of an applicant that might not be reflected in grades alone.
