This annual event held in May at Fletchers showcases the work of the Media Arts and Communications Technology students. Guests are invited to view the Photography, Graphic Design, and Video work on display. Date to be confirmed
This group of aspiring photographers learn traditional camera and darkroom techniques. Students use fully manual film SLRs to explore depth of field, aperture, and shutter speed. The magic of film and print development takes place in the darkroom, where students get to develop their creativity through theme-based projects.

Senior 3D Animation Workshop. Scheduled for May 27th, 2008. This workshop is divided into two components - theory and practical. In the theory component students learn about the history of animation and the NFB. This workshop features screenings and clips from the following award-winning NFB films: Glasses (2001), Black Soul (2000), The Stone Folly (2001). During the practical component students work in production teams to create a narrative, build 3D characters, and then film their stories using professional animation tools and stop-motion animation techniques.
Christopher Broadfield (grade 11 media art student) competed in a poster design contest and WON! His poster for the Peel Dance Showcase is being printed and distributed regionally to promote the event.
Brittany Neumann (grade 11 media art student) will be participating in Walk The Art, a Peel-wide secondary school student art exhibition that focuses on art for social awareness and activism. The show is on display at the Mississauga Living Arts Centre from March 29th to April 27th, 2008. Opening reception is Wednesday, April 2nd from 7 to 9pm.
