Leaders of Tomorrow Essay Contest - CLICK HERE

An essay writing contest on the topic  "How can we stop bullying in our schools?" to win The Prestigious "Mayor Hazel McCallion Award" and cash prizes from $50 to $1,000.  Last day of essay submission: April 1, 2013 Award presentation date by the Mayor: May 26, 2013

Diamond Jubilee Essay Contest

A Career in Water Video Contest

The Ontario Municipal Water Association (OMWA), Ontario Clean Water Agency, Ontario Water Works Association, Walkerton Clean Water Centre, and the Water Environment Association of Ontario are launching a video contest and opportunity to win five $500 prizes as well as additional fun prizes. 


Open to all secondary students in Ontario, the contest encourages younge people to imagine their lives without water and then create a 2 – 3 minute video clip that explores the importance of water in our lives or the variety of careers available in the water sector. 


To learn more about the video contest, visit http://www.acareerinwater.ca and read the contest rules.  You can upload their videos beginning September 17th  after having the video approved by a teacher, principal or guidance counsellor.  The final deadline is November 17, 2012 at 11:59 p.m.
