Student Activity Council

Each high school in Peel selects a group of students to represent the interests of all students in the school. The election process, number of student council members, role of the members and president, and even the titles of those elected can vary from school to school.

Student activity councils help share students’ ideas, interests and concerns with both teachers and administrators. They play a very important role in each school.

Visit the Student Activity Council section of the Peel board website for more information.

Gordon Graydon's Student Activity Council is overseen by an executive (elected by students) and a staff advisor.  Each year, the council facilitates many events that promote school spirit, a positive school climate and friendship building.  The 2014-2015 school year will be no exception.

Students have proposed a number of activities that support the school's diverse school population.  Monthly Spirit Days, dances, semi-formals, galas, fundraising events community support initiatives are just a few areas students will facilitate this year.

Any student, at Graydon, can join SAC.  If interested, they need to contact the staff advisor (Ms. K. Fotinos) or the SAC president.
