On the Theme "Implied"

 

Grade 9

 

Students used a variety of media, tools, processes and technologies to create artworks based on five themes. Students created artwork through drawing, collage, clay sculpture, relief printmaking, tempera and watercolour painting, mixed media, as well as digital imaging. Also, students explored Western, non-Western, Canadian and contemporary art and cultures in relation to our own artworks.

 

          

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Grade 10

 

By introducing students to new ideas, materials, and processes for artistic thinking and experimentation, students explored the relationship between form and content. Students have produced works designed around specific objectives with an overall unifying theme which demonstrates the ability to take varied and creative approaches to using materials, tools, processes, and technologies in studio activities.
