Semester 1 COY Registration for 2018-2019

Math and French Academic workshops and extra help club at LPSS.

Students who would like academic support in Math and/or in any Extended French course are invited to attend an afterschool extra help club. 

Counting On You French literacy will take place in room 203/162 on Tuesdays and Thursdays afterschool.  Math numeracy support will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays afterschool in room 131.

The academic workshops will begin on Tuesday October 16th. Interested students should submit the registration form to Mme McGregor or to the main office.

What is Gratitude?

Gratitude is all about focusing on what's good in your life. It is paying attention to the things that we can sometimes take for granted, especially when we are feeling stressed. There are many different words that can describe feelings of gratitude, including feeling thankful, lucky, or fortunate. An attitude of gratitude involves actively choosing to acknowledge and appreciate the things you are thankful for in life. By making a focused effort to reflect on the positive parts of your day, the stressors you face can begin to feel a little less overwhelming.
