Summer and Night School

Summer School and Night School credits are offered through the Peel board’s Continuing Education department.

Summer School

Summer School credits are offered in class or online to both Peel and non-Peel students. Both credit and non-credit English as a Second Language (ESL) courses are available through Summer School and require teacher recommendation. The admission procedures for each program may vary.

Both Peel and non-Peel residents may attend credit Summer School in class and/or through online credit courses. They may also attend non-credit ESL Summer School. The admission procedures for each program may vary.

Night School

Want to take Night School courses? Registration takes place each year in September and January/February.

 Peel DSB:  Summer School

Please read the information below.  Port Credit S.S. students are able to register by going to www.pcssonline.com, through the student web icon found on the front web page.

Summer School Information Night – Thursday April 6th.

Tuesday, April 25 –

Friday, June 30

SIS access for registration is available:

April 25 – S4 students only

April 26 – S3 students only

April 27 – S2 and S1 students only

April 28 – June 30 – open registration for all grades

* Please note that Student Web registration closes on June 23rd for students to be able to register on their own, but Guidance Counsellors will have access to register students up until June 30th at 12:00 p.m.

Monday, July 3

Civic Holiday – NO CLASSES

Tuesday, July 4

9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Walk-in registration at the summer school sites for classes with small or no waitlists. Walk-in registrations do not trump waitlisted students.

Peel eLearning (online classes) -Summer orientation sessions at Mississauga S.S. on July 4th:

9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.: Grade 10 classes

10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: Grade 11 classes

11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.: Grade 12 classes

Classes begin for all in-class and eLearning courses on July 4th.

Dufferin Peel Summer School

Course offerings:  http://www3.dpcdsb.org/      Go to Programs and Services section, summer school.

                                                                           Download your form from there. Forms are due back to

                                                                           Port Credit Guidance office by May 25th NOT May 30th,

                                                                           as time is needed to send forms in the courier to arrive by

                                                                            May 30th. After this date, students may go to the location

                                                                            of their choice on July 4th, to see if they can get a seat in

                                                                            a course.  Please bring your report card with the course

                                                                            that you wish to upgrade/repeat. Please click on the link
