Applying to post-secondary schools - This presentation provides you with infomration regarding post-secodnary (college and university) application.
 
OUAC PINs (a OUAC PIN is required to apply to Ontario University programs) will be distributed beginning November 28th. To receive your PIN, you will need to (1) show your Guidance Counsellor your student ID card and (2) show evidence that you have completed your 'myBlueprint exit survey'. myBlueprint exit surveys are accessible through the homepage of your myBlueprint account.
 
This year's Ontario Universities Fair  will take place on September 22 through 24, 2017, 10am-5pm daily at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The OUF is a free event where you can interact with representative from all 21 Ontario universities under one roof. The Skywalk College Event will be held concurrently with the OUF along the Union Station Skywalk.
 
 
This year's Student Life Expo will take place on October 28 and 29, 2017, 10am-5pm daily at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The date, time, and location has yet to be confirmed. You will have have an apportuntiy to meet with ecuation and lifestyle exhibitors to help shape your post secondary decision.
 
This year's Ontario College Information Fair will take place on October 24th and 25th, 2017 at the Enercare Centre, Toronto. This is a free where event where you will be able to interact with Ontario College representatives.

Students graduating from high school have four options available to them:

(1) Enter the workforce

(2) Begin an apprenticeship

(3) Attend college

(4) Attend university

 

Parents, guardians, and students, should familiarize themselves with post secondary program requirements, the application process, how to gather information about programs and schools of interest, scholarships and available financial aid, and important dates. Students are always encouraged to meet with their guidance counsellor regarding post secondary planning.
