Letter to affected families from Director of Education regarding Pupil Accommodation Review: Planning together for secondary schools south of the 401

Dear Glenforest, Gordon Graydon Memorial, Lorne Park, T.L. Kennedy and The Woodlands secondary school families,

I am writing with important news to share that affects your teen's school. Last night, Peel District School Board trustees approved a recommendation related to potential school consolidation in your community. As a result, a Pupil Accommodation Review (PAR) has been approved for the following secondary schools:
  • Glenforest Secondary School
  • Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary School
  • Lorne Park Secondary School
  • T.L. Kennedy Secondary School
  • The Woodlands Secondary School

Alumni Dinner - May 6th, 2016

The Alumni Dinner will be held on Friday May 6th, 2016 from 6 pm to 10 pm, held at the TLK Cafeteria. Ticket sales are now closed.  Tickets cannot be purchased at the door.

Our Keynote Speaker will be TLK graduate Prof. Ryan Kennedy of Johns Hopkins University

Tickets will sell for $25 each, with proceeds supporting a scholarship fund for our students.

Peel board says, “Facts matter,” provides factual guide to revised HPE curriculum

The Peel District School Board has produced Working together to keep our students safe and healthy: a parent's guide to the revised Health and Physical Education curriculum. The guide provides factual information about the revised curriculum, the actions the board has taken in response, and a grade-by-grade chart of what students will learn. The guide will be distributed to every parent with students in grades 1 to 12.

Parent resources help you support your child’s learning

In October 2014, the Peel District School Board sought input from families to help guide the development of resources that help parents and caregivers support their children's learning. The result is a new Help Your Child online resource centre on the Peel board's website with the topics families said were important to them. ​​
