All buses are cancelled for January 17, 2017 - Schools and board offices remain open

​All buses in the Peel District School Board have been cancelled​ for Tuesday January 17, 2017. All schools and board offices remain open. Buses will remain cancelled all day. All activities that require busing are also cancelled. Other activities will operate as usual until further notice.

Secondary school families are NOT required to report absences during bus cancellations

UPDATE for secondary school families: When the Peel District School Board cancels buses, all parents who keep their *high school child(ren)* at home are not required to report this absence. ONLY elementary students must report absences if buses are cancelled.

EQAO Math Test & Mock Literacy Test

​On Thursday, January 19, all current grade 9 math students will complete the EQAO math test.

Additionally, all students who will be writing the Literacy Test in March have been invited to complete a mock test on this day.

The testing will take place from 8:15-11:00.

No classes will be running at this time.  The only students who should be at school are students who are writing the tests.

From 12:00-2:44, teachers will be available for extra help or to work one-on-one with students if required.  Buses will run on a regular schedule.

New OSAP removing financial barriers to college and university

​If your teen is currently in Grade 12, you should know that applications are now open for college and university programs. The last date for university applications is January 11, 2017. College applications for the fall term should be submitted before February 1, 2017.

Night School - Semester 2

PEEL

Students will have access to select night school courses for Semester 2 via Student Web from Friday Dec 8, 2016 - Friday Feb 10, 2017.

Information about course offerings and registration is available at http://www.peelschools.org/conted/ns​.

Students may enroll in ONE full credit course if they have less than 4 courses in day school.


DUFFERIN PEEL

Registration is now open and will close February 1, 2017 @ 8am.

Night School registration forms and information are available in the guidance office.
