Participation Component
Interviews and Auditions will be conducted virtually between November 30, 2020 - December 4, 2020.
All students will receive an email confirmation from the Central Peel Strings Department that will give further instructions on how to attend the interview component and where to upload the performance videos (for Experienced and Advanced players only.)

*Pieces for audition solos are at the discretion of the student, or student's school or private music teacher. Orchestra or ensemble music is not appropriate for this audition.
Prepared Solo
The following resources are suggested:
- Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) graded repertoire books 1 and higher
- Suzuki Method books 1 and higher
Technical Skills
- A one-octave scale, ascending and descending, with your choice of bowing
- An arpeggio in the same key, ascending and descending, with your choice of bowing
