Important Information regarding May 2020 Exams
March 23, 2020Dear International Baccalaureate Students and Families,
As you know, all Ontario schools, including those in the Peel District School Board, are closed until April 5, 2020, to help limit the spread of COVID-19. Today, the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) shared a letter for families that outlines impacts on International Baccalaureate (IB) programs for secondary schools. Please find attached the letter from IBO. You can also find more information about impacts affecting the IB program by visiting the IBO online FAQ page and the IBO website at https://www.ibo.org
We understand that this is a difficult time for students and families and appreciate your understanding as we continue to keep you as informed and as up-to-date as possible.
Grade 9 and 10 pre IB-DP students will be assessed following the Ministry of Education's Growing Success document. Since September 2010, assessment, evaluation, and reporting in Ontario schools has been based on the policies and practices described in this document.
This document aims to maintain high standards, improve student learning, and benefit students, parents, and teachers in elementary and secondary schools across the province. Click on the link below for more information on Growing Success:
