Ministry of Education shares letter with families regarding extended school closures

​On May 19, the Ministry of Education announced​ that all publicly funded schools in Ontario, including those in the Peel District School Board, will remain closed for the remainder of the school year, to help limit the spread of COVID-19. Minister of Education Stephen Lecce shared a  letter to families regarding the extended school closures.​​

The Ministry of Education officially announced that all publicly funded schools in Ontario will remain closed for the remainder of this school year to further prevent the spread of COVID-19.​​

Peel board takes immediate action on Ministry of Education Review directives

​After consultations with students, staff, families, trustees and community members, today, the Ministry of Education released its final report on the​ Peel District School Board's review.​ A joint statement from the Chair of the Board Brad MacDonald and Director of Education Peter Joshua can be found here.​​

Kindergarten registration now available online for 2020-21 school year

​The Peel District School Board is now accepting kindergarten registrations for the 2020-21 school year through its new online kindergarten registration portal. While schools remain closed due to COVID-19, families who have children born in 2016 can register for kindergarten virtually, if they haven't already done so. GRADUATION RESCHEDULED - VALEDICTORIAN VOTE

Hello Class of 2020, 

Commencement has been tentatively rescheduled for Thursday, October 15th. Please refer to the Grade 12 Guidance Google Classroom to read the profile of the 6 Valedictorian Nominees. Voting for your 2020 Valedictorian will start on Monday May 25th and end Friday May 29th at 3:00 pm. Students can vote through Google Form on the grade 12 Guidance Google Classroom

Peel board recognizes Asian Heritage Month and Jewish Heritage Month

​​The Peel District School Board recognizes both Asian Heritage Month and Jewish Heritage Month in the month of May. We encourage staff, students, families and communities to spend time learning about the rich culture, heritage and contributions of Asian Canadians and Jewish Canadians, who throughout history, have done so much to make Canada the culturally diverse, compassionate and prosperous country we know today.​
