Mental health impacts each and every one of us. There are many factors that influence our mental health, our families, current living situations, friends, stress and emotional issues to name a few . Our mental health impacts how we feel, how we do in school, how we interact with others, and our overall well-being.
Knowing when you need support is important. Sometimes, we think we need to talk to someone or need help, but don’t know what to do. You may feel overwhelmed, sad and alone – know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Being a self-advocate and speaking to an adult is a great step towards getting help. If you are worried about how you are feeling, please speak to a parent, a teacher, a guidance counselor or another caring adult.
