Peel Region High Performers Program provides flexible scheduling for student athletes, artists to train, compete
The Peel District School Board's Peel Region High Performers Program accommodate student athletes and artists by offering flexible timetabling to accommodate demanding practice, competition, rehearsal and/or performance schedules that take place during the regular school day. The program is open to students in grades 4 to 12 and offered at Britannia Public School (grades 4 to 5), Dolphin Sr. Public School (grades 6 to 8) and Mississauga Secondary School (grades 9 to 12).
Applications for the 2021-22 school year are open and available at www.peelschools.org/HighPerformers. There is no cost to attend the program, however, there is an application fee of $40.

Grades 4 to 5 - offered at Britannia Public School
Located at 1145 Swinbourne Dr. in Mississauga

Grades 6 to 8 - offered at Dolphin Sr. Public School
Grades 9 to 12 - offered at Mississauga Secondary School

To qualify for the program, high-performing students must be recommended by a coach, agent or instructor who can verify the students' levels of competitiveness, training hours and schedules. Students will be expected to work towards maintaining provincial academic standards and will be supported in their pursuit of academic achievement, while achieving athletic or arts excellence through their participation on sports teams and arts endeavours outside of school.
Students in the Peel Region High Performers Program will have the opportunity to participate in school activities and will be supported as they work towards meeting the expectations of the Ontario curriculum. Students will be on a modified timetable that reflects each student's individual training and competition schedules.
