City of Mississauga Youth Leadership Leader in Training Program
This program provides training in the following: leadership and programming of children's activities, inclusion, promotion positive behaviour, communication skills, and instructional techniques for leaing arts, crafts and games.

The Mikey Network
High school students have the opportunity to earn volunteer hours by learning CPR/AED online and through our
free mobile app. Through the Mikey Young At Heart Program, students can earn volunteer hours by participating in a series of short videos and quizzes that will provide the knowledge needed to feel comfortable performing CPR our using and AED.
Mississauga Marathon
The Mississauga Marathon weekend takes place yearly in early May. Volunteers are needed for a variety of roles.
Toronto Triathlon Festival
The Toronto Triathlon Festival takes place in mid to late July. Volunteers are needed for many roles.
Black Youth Success (BYS)
BYS is a culturally relevant prevention and intervention wrap around school and community suppor initiative tht holds the student and his/her family at the centre. Their goal is to support up to approximately 1000 (500 in 5 years) Black children and youth in grades 6-8 and for all four years of high school to achieve graduation or be on track to achieve gradutation rates on par with the regional average by 2026.

PLASP Child Care Services
PLASP Child Care Services is a not-for-profit, community-based, charitable organization, that provides care and early learning to children.
PLASP volunteers are:
- male and female, 13 years and older
- interested in volunteering with children
- are always with PLASP staff (and never left alone with a child or a group of children)
- typically participate from 3:30pm to 5:45pm one day a week in an after school program at a local elementary school
All volunteers receive training by participating in a comprehensive orientation and games workshop before they begin.

Volunteer MBC is a Volunteer Centre that fosters and develops volunteerism in the Region of Peel, serving the cities of Mississauga and Brampton, and the Town of Caledon, by raising awareness of the power of service.

Muslimfest
MuslimFest celebrates the best in Muslim arts and entertainment. The event features over 50 local and international artists who showcase their talent in various areas. Concerts featuring popular Muslim artists, comedy shows, a multicultural bazaar, and a kids carnival constitute some of the fun things one can expect at MuslimFest.

Living Arts Centre, Mississauga
The Living Arts Centre recruits numerous youth to help with their Camps, Community Courses, Front of House, and Special Events every year. The program is designed to aid all students in the completion of their required volunteer service hours while gaining valuable worlplace experience in a fun and positive setting.

ICNA Relief Canada is part of a global humanitarian relief and development organization responding to human suffering in emergency and disaster situations around the world. The Seva Food Bank provides safe, nutritious and culturally-appropriate food to low-income families living in seven postal codes across Mississauga. The Riverwood Conservancy
The Riverwood Conservancy is a volunteer and member-based charity that provides programs and services to the community in nature and environmental education, stewardship of Riverwood, and gardening and horticulture.
Streetsville Bread and Honey Festival
The Streetsville Founder’s Bread and Honey Festival is the largest and longest running festival in Mississauga and is recognized as an Ontario Top 100 festival by Festivals and Events Ontario. The festival hosts upwards of 50,000 attendees annually at Streetsville Memorial Park; a natural amphitheatre situated on 30 acres overlooking the picturesque Credit River. Today, the festival operates as a non-profit and is organized by volunteers of the community.
