Citation Guides:

APA Brochure.pdf

For many years, Peel Students have referenced the citation guide Source It and the Source It Website for help formatting bibliographic material.

Unfortunately, Source It is out of date and does not include current information, which poses problems when using resources such as our database's built in citation tool.

Students are encouraged to use the Owl Purdue website, which features current, in-depth information. Unfortunately, that resource is dense, and students may find they have to hunt for basic information.

Accordingly, The Woodlands L.L.C. staff have created a pair of easy reference ciation guides in two preferred styles:

In grades 9 and 10, all Woodlands students will document their research in MLA style.

In grades 11 and 12, teachers may ask for students to document research in MLA or APA format. Always ask your teachers for guidelines, as their expectations may differ.
